About me

Whether you’re trying to understand how the past affects the present, build new coping skills or develop insight to change behavior patterns, I use an empathic, non-judgmental, and person-centered approach to help you work toward your goals. I offer therapy with a focus on trauma and loss. Trauma comes in all shapes and forms. Trauma can mean the death of a family member, incarceration, losing your job, or experiencing or witnessing violence. I’ll work with you to find ways to face challenges that may feel insurmountable.

For over three years, I’ve worked extensively with youth involved in the juvenile justice system, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and secondary victims of homicide. Additionally, much of my experience and education has focused on race, identity, and immigration, especially within the context of South Asian culture and diaspora.

If you’re looking to heal from past trauma or explore and grow into your identity, I offer a brave and trusting space to work toward your goals.
