About me

You’ve been through a lot. Life and its challenges keep you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and confused, like heavy boulders in your way. Perhaps, you are going through a difficult transition and finding it hard to adjust or something in your life just doesn’t feel right. You might be feeling numb, angry, sad, hopeless, scared… you may be feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders. You might not know where or how to start. Therapy can be an intimidating experience as it requires us to open up to our inner world. Taking the first step is hard and I value the courage it takes to make that first stride.

In my work with you, I draw on evidence-based practices including emotion-focused therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and CBT. I recognize the cultural influences in our lives and am sensitive to it in my therapeutic approach. My clients have often lived through life transitions, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, relationship issues, chronic health issues, loss, body image support, and work or school issues.

I aim to meet you where you are and walk with you through life’s obstacles, helping you discover your authentic self. I believe in the power of working collaboratively to explore your needs, strengths, and goals in a holistic way. Together, we can develop strategies to transform obstacles into opportunities for growth and change.
