About me

Welcome! My name is Kanica and I am a registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with children, teens and adults. I work from a cultural and trauma informed lens and specialize in providing support to individuals experiencing anxiety including OCD, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, parenting, school-related stressors (i.e. academics, attendance, bullying), self-harm, suicide, and self-esteem issues.

My goal is to work with individuals to identify their strengths, areas that may be causing stress and work collaboratively to identify your goals for therapy and improve quality of life. I am trained and use the following treatment modalities in my practice: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Please feel free to reach out for a FREE 15 minute phone consultation to learn more about my approach and ask any questions you may have!
