About me

Empathy has always been the backbone to developing a strong connection with others. I strive on using a kind, non-judgemental approach to understanding your needs, fears, regrets, guilt and grief.

Born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario, I’ve seen a need for mental health services in my community. In an effort to bridge this gap and to give back to the community that gave me the foundation to follow my dreams, I decided to open Empathic Counselling Centre right at home.

My specialties are in anger management and domestic violence, utilizing a model that is laced with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused approaches. I also work  in areas of anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress management, self-harm, suicide ideation, and mindfulness.
I have ample experience working with clients who are involved in legal issues such as assaults and domestic cases. My involvement with these cases have helped me hone my understanding of anger as it applies in various scenarios.

OH..and I absolutely love elephants, traveling, working out, and a good cup of coffee.
