About me

As an Integrative counsellor, I have training in more than one approach of counselling which means I am able adapt my approach to better suit my client.

Originally, I trained and worked as a listening volunteer with The Samaritans, it was here that I learned the value of being there to listen alongside someone, with empathy and acceptance in a safe space. This is the foundation of my counselling style.

I work with the core principle that I am not the expert of you,  you are!

What I can do is help you explore and ask questions that you may not have thought of to create awareness and cope with life.

I bring my experiences of being surrounded by more than one culture and all that brings; whether that’s a sense of belonging or identity/ acceptance, to want to find clarity can be the core of being human.

Always in collaboration, we can explore what it means for you to feel seen and feel heard with a feeling of belonging, so that you can live authentically, which can build resilience and autonomy.

All of which ripples out to healthy relationship with yourself and others, with awareness of well-being.

I can explore with you any recurring patterns that may impact life and relationships, maybe with a view to enrich connection and communication.

This can also be an important part of relationship counselling, whether it’s to bring harmony or to work out the next steps when things are not going so well.

If any of this resonates with you, that you feel that there are many parts to you and your life, I can provide a place of safety where you can bring them all out into the open. We can look at how/when they serve you.

I work with individuals and with couples.

My fees are:

Initial meeting free

Individual £55/ session

Couples £65/session
