About me

*Offering in-person and video/phone session. Contact me for a 20 min video or phone consultation to assess fit*

I have worked with a diverse population on issues related to anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, trauma, family & relational issues etc which has allowed me to understand the importance of creating a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients. Being a huge advocate of social change. I take into consideration my clients’ social contexts and how that has an impact on their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. I greatly appreciate individual differences, strengths and unique stories of my clients.

I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy while drawing primarily from Emotion-Focused, Multicultural and Cognitive Behavioural approaches. I strongly believe that my clients have the power and inner strength to bring about positive changes in their own lives. I am here to offer a safe space that allows for you to reflect on your experiences that have led you to where you are now. Together we will explore your thoughts and behaviours that don’t serve you anymore and work towards challenging them. We work collaboratively to create therapeutic goals, and work on identifying long-term strategies that meet each client’s mental health needs. I also integrate Somatic, Mindfulness and Self Compassion practices in my work.
