About me

**Offering in-person and video/phone sessions. Contact me for a 20 min video or phone consultation to assess fit**

I have worked with a diverse population on issues related to anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, trauma, family & relational issues etc. As a first generation South Asian Canadian born in Nepal and brought up in India, I understand the struggles that individuals face due to bicultural identity. I am here to offer you a safe and non judgmental space where you can explore your experiences and how that has has shaped you to be who you are now. Together we will explore your thoughts and behaviours that don’t serve you anymore and work towards challenging them.

I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy while drawing primarily from Emotion-Focused, Multicultural and Cognitive Behavioural approaches. I strongly believe that my clients have the power and inner strength to bring about positive changes in their own lives. We work collaboratively to create therapeutic goals, and work on identifying long-term strategies that meet each client’s mental health needs. I also integrate Somatic, Mindfulness and Self Compassion practices in my work.
