Hi I’m Indi and I am a qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor. For me being a counsellor is not just a profession but from experience I can understand how difficult it can be to reach out for support and how overwhelming that can feel. But I am here to listen and to support you in exploring through those issues that may be having a negative impact on your life.
I can understand you may never have had counselling in the past, or maybe you have but you feel it did not help at the time. You may be feeling nervous to start therapy and to take that first step or not know what to expect. I hope by reading more about me and how I work, I can put any feelings of worry you may have, a little bit at ease.
?Life can be and feel difficult at times and we may struggle to find a way to move forward and progress. You are not alone and you do not need to face these hurdles and struggles by yourself. I offer a safe and private space for you to be able to offload and explore these challenges in a non judgemental and safe environment. I use an integrative approach focusing on Person Centred and Solution Focused Therapy in my counselling. At times I may use elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to assist you with tools and strategies, that can be helpful in managing unpleasant thoughts and feelings that you may be experiencing. I tailor my therapy based on the individual and their circumstances and by using elements of different approaches, I can help you to explore what your issues are and help you to move forward.
