About me

Everyone has a unique life story to tell. The wonderful, empowering part is that you can design the narrative however you choose. Whether your narrative includes beautiful or bitter encounters, you are the master of these experiences and the expert on your life. Still, sometimes challenges are difficult, confusing, overwhelming, and discouraging to process alone. Being vulnerable is not easy and it takes tremendous bravery. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, warm, collaborative, and inviting space that fosters exploration and healing.

As a South Asian American woman who grew up in the Middle East, I understand what it feels like to straddle multiple cultures while also struggling with the need to be authentic to yourself. I have worked with many South Asian and Middle Eastern individuals who desired better relationships with their partners and families. I stand alongside my clients through the process of discovery while co-creating tools for effective communication from a place of knowing and empowerment in conjunction with balancing respect, values, and traditions.

I work with teens, young and mature adults, career changers, couples, mothers, single parents, widow(ers), and blended families. I appreciate and respect that every client is unique and therefore, I approach therapy with an integrative mindset. Depending on your goals and the process that resonates with you the most, I utilize a combination of techniques that is trauma informed, client centered, and strengths based.

I see clients in-person in Westchester NY , and also virtually throughout New York and New Jersey.
