I have experience working with with children, pre-teens, teens, young adults and adults. I also work with couples and families. In my therapeutic approach, I aim to help clients become more self-aware, to explore the strengths they possess, and most of all to develop coping strategies that will make them more resilient during adversity. I use an integrative approach through utilizing tools from evidence-based therapies such as Somatic Experiencing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I also tailor my approach based on client’s needs and provide the support they need throughout their journey towards self-actualization. Most importantly, I like to provide a safe space for my clients where they are able to share, explore, and nurture their own mental well-being. I prioritize working collaboratively with clients, being transparent and respectful, and building a relationship of trust and mutual understanding and liking. I believe that people have the desire to change and I can help and support them through the change process by being compassionate and accepting.
