About me

Accepting new clients! – Are you struggling with your identity or traumas? Do you need help managing the multiple stressors in your life? Or maybe your anxiety is getting the best of you and you want to improve communication in your relationships?

Acknowledging that you need help is the first step, so I’m glad you’re here. I know firsthand how daunting it can be to reach out, so I strive to make the therapeutic process as calming and grounding as possible. If you’re ready to make a change, or even if you’re on the fence, I would love to work with you.

My experience in schools, community mental health centers, and within the child welfare system has given me a broad exposure to working with clients from a range of backgrounds. My identities as a South Asian, Muslim, first-generation American have given me true empathy, understanding, and an additional skill set that meets the needs of those communities. I’m very passionate about working with other South Asians since we have our own unique cultures and traditions that are easier to understand with a therapist who shares a similar background. I’m here for you and would love to connect!

I look forward to fostering a nonjudgmental safe space for you to feel truly heard and cared for. I will be patient and compassionate as we work together on helping you live authentically. I can help highlight the strengths you already hold to empower you to be your best self. Thank you for considering me to join you on your journey to healing and growth.
