About me

Hi, my name is Ektha Aggarwal. As your licensed psychotherapist, I am committed to helping you transform your shame into personal strength.  My areas of expertise include supporting you with your anxiety, depression, and resolving shame. As a first generation Asian therapist based in Los Angeles, California, I work with people who are trying to resolve cultural duality between their obligations to their family and traditions, all while trying to assimilate to their “home” in the western world.

If your emotions or thoughts are taking over at the worst possible moments, or if you are wrestling with day-to-day life confusion, pain or loss – you are not alone. Together, we’ll build courage you need to face the difficult questions you may be avoiding.  This time is overwhelming and may be affecting your relationships with family, friends, colleagues and most importantly, your relationship with yourself.

As Shannon Alder puts it, “courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life.” How do you to face the difficult questions, show courage, and claim your shakti (strength) in order to heal?

Healing begins with love. Let’s work on being in love with the person in the mirror, who has been through so much and is still showing resilience. As your therapist, I help you navigate the challenges of adulthood & manage your feelings through positive psychology interventions and holistic modalities like Trauma-Focused Yoga, Ketamine Assisted Therapy, and Crystal Healing.  I am dedicated to helping you tap into your inner healing intelligence and turn your pain into personal power. I call this power Shakti.

If you are ready to transition your pain to resilience, effortlessly achieve your goals, and ignite greater joy and love, contact me today. I am in this with you & TOGETHER we can navigate any conflict and help you thrive.
