About me

*Offering Telehealth to entire state of Georgia. Sliding scale options available*

Mental health is as important and intimately tied to physical health. Our brain is an organ just like any other and sometimes the mind-body connection gets dysregulated. Mental health struggles can often be a very invisible process- we can look put together and functional on the outside while a storm is raging beneath the surface. It can be scary and perhaps even shameful to think about reaching out for help but taking that leap is a great first step in self-advocacy.

I am an immigrant and a child of Indian immigrants and have my doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I take a warm and collaborative approach to therapy. Our work will be as much focused on who you are in your world outside therapy alongside how we are functioning within therapy. Your concerns will be understood within the context of your identities, your culture, and your environment.

I have extensive experience working within the South Asian community, particularly around concerns with depression, anxiety, perfectionism, intergenerational trauma, and difficult family and marriage dynamics. I have also led South Asian group therapy for women, worked with South Asian international students, immigrants, and women working in male dominated industries. Finally, I am an ally to the LGBT+ community and being a brave space for your authentic self.

Thank you for taking the time to read and I welcome the opportunity to connect to see if we may be a good fit.
