About me

Exploring your mental health issues alongside your cultural beliefs, values and traditions can become quite a challenge. I feel that offering clients the opportunity to express their issues in a non-judgemental space, and working empathically are the key aspects of building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I have over 10 years of experience working in various mental health settings with ages ranging from 5-65 years old.

Due to my clinical and research experiences, working with different cultures, race, gender and sexuality, has given me insight into the difficulties associated with these aspects of an individual. I have also worked with those who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse and various other issues please see below.

I am a registered Counselling Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I have trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). Please note, I can only work with clients who are based in the U.K. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
