About me

Hello, and welcome to my practice, where I strive to offer a warm, safe and non-judgmental space within which we can together work through your emotional difficulties.

I work internationally in the area of mental health and psychology, and have also been serving a counselling psychologist in the National Health Services, UK, for the last 6 years. My training and experience spans working with people suffering from different degrees of distress, including anxiety, depression, bereavement and work stress. The labels are incidental – I believe in working with the PERSON, who is currently struggling in his/her unique social and psychological context.

As a first generation immigrant myself, I am particularly interested in and attuned to the experiences of individuals attempting to adjust to transitions – whether these are cultural, generational or across the lifespan. I offer a safe, containing environment in which we can together made sense of your unique experiences and help you discover all aspects of yourself.

I believe that we all suffer – this is a given in the world we live in today. However, I also believe that we have great potential for joy, peace, self-reflection and emotional intelligence. In therapy, it is this capacity that we would together strive to galvanise, so that you can live your life in line with your most cherished values.
