About me

I am a licensed, board certified, clinical psychologist providing in person and virtual therapy and evaluation services in Georgia and many other states through PSYPACT. I believe in a culturally-informed, collaborative, and client-centered approach. Being a South Asian woman, I have an intimate understanding of the cultural and societal norms within our community that profoundly influence mental well-being. Drawing from my experiences as both an immigrant and the child of immigrants, I understand the constant struggle with trying to create an intricate balance between two cultures. That being said, every individual is unique, and I tailor my therapeutic methods to meet your specific needs and goals. I have extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and interpersonal therapy (IPT).

In addition to providing therapy, I also conduct psychological evaluations/assessments for adults pursuing bariatric surgery and for adults seeking third party reproductive options. Aside from my clinical work, I am also actively involved in several psychological organizations, including Georgia Psychological Association (GPA) and American Psychological Association (APA). I have had the privilege of serving in various leadership roles within these associations. Lastly, I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine.

Taking the first step toward therapy is a courageous decision, and I applaud you for it. Finding the right therapeutic fit is also essential. Please reach out for a free consultation. I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to supporting you on your journey to mental and emotional wellness.
