About me

Hello there, thank you for being here. My name is Dr. Manasi Shankar and I am a licensed individual and couple therapist with over 9 years of clinical experience. I often describe my therapy approach as culturally informed, compassion-focused, and evidence-based. I prioritize creating therapy experiences that feel memorable, fulfilling and effective. Personally, I value meaningful connections, warmth, and authenticity, and I believe these qualities organically translate into my clinical role in ways that make healing more achievable. Since my goal is long-lasting change, in sessions, we will pay attention to the various parts of your identity and how they uniquely intersect to create you and your life experience. I am sorry that you/your relationship is in pain and I look forward to figuring this out with you. If this feels like the right fit, take a deep breath and a moment, and reach out for a free 30 minute consult. I would love to hear from you.
