‘In light of the current situation with COVID19, I’m offering online sessions via Skype, FaceTime or Zoom and phone counselling.’
Psychologist, Life and Relationship Coach.
Are you feeling anxious, lost, low, lonely or stressed? Do you feel that nobody understands you? Not sure what or how do you change things? Do you want to take control of your life and unsure how to?
I am a fully qualified Psychologist. I work with clients from various cross-sections of the community and with a varied age group. I am culturally sensitive and understand the needs and expectations of different cultural groups. I provide a safe, confidential and empathic environment for you to discuss issues which may be affecting you.
I have several years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with depression, anxiety, PTSD and relationship issues. Working with clients who have been through trauma for a number of years has also given me the added advantage of developing a better understanding of how the mind and body are impacted and the different approaches which can be used when working with individuals.
As an Integrative therapist, my work with individuals can involve various approaches such as CBT, Psychodynamic, Gestalt or Person Centred. The approach I take depends on the needs of the individual and what best suits them.
I provide counselling in Edgbaston, Birmingham (B15 area) and Solihull (B90 area) which is easily accessible by bus, train and has parking. Appointments available daytime, evening and weekends.

What is therapy?
Certain life experiences can get you to a point where you want to seek further support to understand and make sense of things going on in your head. Sometimes having space and working with a professional can be very significant to help you become aware of certain patterns of behaviours or emotions.
It can be difficult to reach out for support when feeling certain emotions. I have worked with individuals who have experienced feelings of anxiety, panic, sadness, low mood, suicidal ideation, OCD and stress. These issues may be due to relationship difficulties, work/university stress, loss and bereavement, trauma from past life experiences and difficulties of low self esteem and confidence. I am not here to judge you or to tell you what you should do. I am here to support you through understanding your different emotions to help you live a better life managing your emotions.
Working with the INNER CHILD and Trauma
As children we develop a blueprint of values and beliefs that we live our life by. As adults we live by these values and beliefs. We can find ourselves as adults wanting to move forward, but often sabotaged by the blueprint developed as a child. This can be changed through becoming aware of your inner child and developing healthy coping strategies to support your inner child.
