About me

I’m a licensed psychologist providing therapy for adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. My work is especially focused on individuals from multicultural, immigrant, and collectivist backgrounds who often feel torn between personal needs, family expectations, achievement pressure, and cultural responsibility.

Many of the clients I work with are high-achieving, self-aware, and used to “holding it together” for everyone else, while internally feeling overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, anxious, guilty, or stuck in patterns of people pleasing and self-criticism. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, better understand yourself, process emotions more deeply, improve relationships, and build a life that feels more authentic and emotionally sustainable.

My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and insight-oriented while also providing practical tools clients can use in everyday life. I integrate evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based strategies, DBT-informed skills, attachment-focused work, and trauma-informed therapy.

I completed my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the University of Manchester in the UK and have over 10 years of clinical experience across private practice, hospitals, universities, trauma services, forensic settings, schools, and community mental health organizations in both the UK and the US. I am licensed and trained in both countries and have worked with diverse populations across a wide range of clinical settings. I am also a Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania, HCPC-registered in the UK, and a PSYPACT Authorized Provider, allowing me to offer telehealth therapy services to clients across participating PSYPACT states.

My professional interests include multicultural mental health, identity development, emotional regulation, attachment and relationship dynamics, intergenerational patterns, and the impact of cultural and family systems on emotional wellbeing.
