About me

CURRENTLY OFFERING ONLINE SESSIONS ONLY.

By offering a safe space for clients to explore their difficulties, I help my clients to find hope, feel empowered and discover what is meaningful for them. My clinical training and 20 years’ experience in the NHS means that I have worked extensively with clients of all ages, from young children to teens, adults and those later in life working with a wide range of psychological needs and concerns. So whether you’re looking for support with low mood, anxiety, confidence, or want to better understand yourself or your relationships, I can help. Therapy really can make a difference and help you to feel more like the person you want to be.

My approach:

It is important to hear your story and make sense of things together to help understand what has happened as opposed to what is “wrong”. I really value working as a team, bringing together my psychological knowledge and expertise combined with your personal experience to enact positive change.

Being a Clinical Psychologist, I am highly trained in a number of different therapeutic modalities which are evidence based (for example, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Systemic/Family based therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, etc). Rather than use a ‘one size fits all’ approach, I often adapt and tailor therapeutic approaches so that therapy is suited to your specific needs. As I view clients in a holistic way, I also consider other areas of health, such as diet, sleep, and the body which often impact on mood and emotional well-being.

Specialties:

Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Women’s Issues, Trauma and offering Culturally Sensitive Therapy.

If you have any questions or want to know more, I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation and all consultations and sessions are confidential.
