About me

Welcome to Global Psychologist, a modern psychology practice centred aroud diversity, inclusion and men’s mental health. My aim is to provide high quality person-centred evidence-based therapy and assessment in a manner that is compassionate and healing.

I’m a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and a scholar, with over a decade of experience working in the NHS, private practice, academia, consultancy, and international nonprofit sector.

I am from Zambia and have also grown up in Europe and South Asia. I bring this lived experience of multiculturalism and familiarity with change to my therapeutic practice.

Clinically, I have trained and worked at several specialist London NHS clinics, including the Maudsley Hospital Trauma, Anxiety & Depression Clinic. I undertook my PhD at the renowned Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London, where I researched the intergenerational transmission of emotional difficulties.

As an academic, I have held research and teaching positions at UCL and King’s College London, and have co-founded Trauma Psychology Training, a mental health education consultancy. I have written several publications and book chapters which explore the impact of our early life experiences on our adulthood wellbeing.

We will start by having an initial consultation, which is a chance for you to share in depth what you are struggling with. We will then discuss what type of therapy might be most suitable for your needs and goals.
