I am a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience and currently run my own practice in London. I have a deep knowledge of a range of issues including depression, anxiety, burnout, abuse, trauma and a variety of health conditions. I can diagnose and help with the management of autism, dyslexia and other related neurological conditions, including memory loss.
I work with clients in a manner which is authentic, engaged and evidence-based. I believe working with my clients as a team delivers the best results. I offer bespoke therapies and strategies to deal with issues. I help clients understand that they can make fundamental changes to their lives and, once they have understood this, to take action.
Typically, in no more than 6, 50min sessions, clients overcome something which is troubling them. Clients report a marked sense of well-being, increased ease and contentment with greater effectiveness in all aspects of their life. They are surprised and, on occasion, amazed at the changes they have made to their lives over such a short period of time. The sessions may also be longer term to explore deeper issues.
I have an MSc in health psychology, a Doctorate in clinical psychology and am a Chartered Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. I am a full member of the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC). As an associate clinical tutor on the Royal Holloway clinical psychology doctoral programme, I supervise and assess the competencies of doctoral trainees.
