About me

Life is overwhelming and painful sometimes. Therapy is a safe space to understand your feelings and experiences and sort through them with someone you can rely on. I value building a collaborative relationship that nurtures trust and safety. I will work with you to uncover and explore your distress, while introducing techniques to better manage it. Together we will disentangle current and past life events to understand how they are impacting you, identify patterns, and examine what you want to change and how you want to do it. During this journey, I will cheer you on, challenge you, and help you rediscover ways to care for yourself.
As an Indian immigrant, I am attuned to issues related to cultural adjustment, life transitions, oppression, and discrimination. I am trained to help with self-esteem, confidence, family conflict, depression, anxiety and interpersonal difficulties and attend to the influence of gender, sexual orientation, age, social class, religion, and race on life experiences.
While initially intimidating, therapy can be an exciting journey to discovering a life you didn’t think you had emotional access to or were worthy of. Embarking on this journey with you would be my privilege. Please feel free to reach out if you think we may be a good fit.

I am facilitating a group for South Asians. See link for more information:
