About me

Life can be complicated, and sometimes we carry struggles that leave us feeling exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. I believe therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of your experiences in a new way. My goal is to provide a warm, collaborative environment where you feel safe exploring your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and identity and creating change that reflects your values and goals.

My approach is relational, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed. I believe that our past experiences, relationships, and environments shape how we see ourselves. Together, we will explore these experiences and build practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based approaches, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. As a first-generation American with a multicultural background (half Bengali and half Filipina), I understand that culture, family dynamics, and identity can play a significant role in I have a particular interest in supporting women, individuals navigating multicultural experiences, and those recovering from sexual and relational trauma.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years working in corporate recruiting and sales, giving me firsthand experience with workplace stress, burnout, career uncertainty, and the pressures of professional achievement. This background allows me to support clients who are navigating similar challenges in their workplace.

I recently earned my Master of Social Work degree and have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including a homeless shelter and a college counseling center. Across these settings, I have supported individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and major life transitions. My social work background informs my holistic approach to therapy, recognizing that our mental health is shaped not only by our internal experiences but also by our relationships, cultural identities, and social environments.

Through our work together, my goal is to help clients develop greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and self-compassion while creating meaningful and lasting change. Whether you are navigating a difficult season of life or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I would be honored to support you in that process. If this resonates with you, please reach out to schedule a consultation.
