About me

I am Deepa Saharia, an Indian-American therapist specializing in relational and narrative therapies. As a queer-identifying therapist who grew up with the expectations to hide parts of myself, I aim to create a therapeutic space where you can fully acknowledge and reconnect with all the different parts of yourself.

Our work will provide you the tools to navigate personal identity issues, family transitions, systemic violence or the aftermath of intergenerational trauma. I specialize in serving families, couples, children, and young adults with an anti-oppressive lens. If generational family dynamics have compelled you to hide parts of yourself, I will work with you to dismantle those barriers so you can fully embrace your authentic self.

Through the integration of Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and narrative therapy, we will heal the wounds that keep you trapped in anxious thoughts, depression, self-harm, eating disorders, sexual trauma, or relational conflict. I am here to support you in standing strong so that you can live the grounded life you deserve. We can embark on this path of growth together.
