About me

**Accepting New Clients!** Life can be challenging at times and you may be seeking therapy to help you process it all or figure out your next steps. You may be struggling in your relationships with your parents, partner, or other important people in your life in terms of managing their expectations of you as well as dealing with feelings of anxiety, guilt, shame, and other complex emotions. Finding a balance between what to stand up for and what to let go of is difficult. You may also be reflecting on your childhood experiences and how they have impacted you in the present day, as well as trying to make changes to rewrite your future.

You could be trying to find your voice, build your confidence, become more independent, and set boundaries so that you can live your life based on your own values and needs and what is important to you. Exploring new experiences, behaviours, and habits scare you but you know deep down that these changes can have a positive effect on your life and you might need some support from a therapist to get there.

If this resonates with you and the level of support are looking for, then my online therapy services may be helpful for you. The clients that reach out to me most often are South Asian millennial adults (20s-40s) who would like some support in learning how to prioritize and take care of themselves when they are so used to being of service to others.

I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Alberta College of Social Workers and am also registered with the Ontario Association of Social Workers. In addition, I am registered as a Certified Solution Focused Therapist (CSFT) with the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC) Global Inc.

I have an Honours Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work degree and have completed professional training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Counselling, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I offer online therapy for individuals and solution-focused brief therapy.

I help clients cope with their challenges, create a plan to problem-solve around barriers, and build the life they want to create for themselves.

Please connect with me via my website at https://www.imeaningful.com/ to book a free 15 minute phone consultation so we can see if we are a good fit. It would be an honour to support you in your journey!
