About me

Born and raised in India, I have been living in the US for twenty years. I realize the importance of finding a therapist from one’s own cultural background who would understand and respect your values and belief system. Apart from counseling individual adults, I also provide therapy for couples on navigating relationship issues, divorce, and co-parenting. I offer family therapy on issues arising from acculturation that may be causing a rift between the parents and teenage or adult kids because of contrasting religious and family values and Western culture. Counseling can help bridge this gap. I also address issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, grief, and loss.

I provide therapy from a holistic perspective that considers the complete well-being of the individual, including their mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to support individuals in developing self-confidence, self-healing, and self-acceptance. My therapeutic approach is based on CBT, existential, meditation, narrative, and mindfulness-based modalities. I also speak Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu. My passion is to help people who want to explore spirituality and, in the process, understand their purpose and meaning of life because I believe we are all spiritual beings here to live meaningful lives.

Since every individual is unique, I customize our sessions to address your specific needs. My approach is genuine, warm, and validating. I offer tools to help you create a lasting change. I believe you can live a life of fulfillment and purpose. Email me so I can help you get there.
