About me

I work primarily with Queer, Desi, and BI/POC folks to navigate feelings of anxiety, grief, loneliness, guilt or shame. I also work with clients who are struggling with vulnerability in relationships, wanting to process attachment and trauma experiences, or just looking for a space to process emotions.

I specialize in working with anxiety and depression as well as religious and attached-based trauma stemming from familial history. I center my therapeutic approach beyond the boundaries of a Eurocentric lens. I know that when you reach out for support, your main focus is receiving the help that you need. That is why I strive to provide a space where you can feel understood without having to over-explain your identity, your culture, or other parts of what make you, you.

I believe that therapy can be one of many ways to heal from and disrupt generational patterns of harm and violence and would be honored to join you in that process. If you’d like to learn more about how we can work together, please visit https://www.sayapsychotherapy.com
