About me

Currently I am only able to offer counselling via telephone or online via Zoom, but I hope to offer the option of face-to-face sessions as soon as the situation allows.

I am an experienced Integrative Trauma -Informed Counsellor in private practice based in Gloucestershire. I offer a welcoming confidential and safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I am trained to help you understand your feelings and how to deal with them.

Life can be challenging and sometimes we can find it hard to cope with the overwhelm or find ourselves stuck. Life transitions like divorce, parenting, co-parenting, career changes, immigrating or moving can be stressful and leave us wondering how to cope. We could find ourselves in relationships, whether it be family, friendships, or romantic partnerships, struggling with patterns and behaviours that do not serve us or the relationship. I will work with you to help you to identify any deep-rooted issues that you may or may not be aware of and how they might be impacting you today.

Together we will work out how best to work through and resolve these deep-rooted issues and agree on the strategies to help you move forward. I will be working with you to help you identify your strengths and skills and use them. Any changes you might make are of your own choosing.

I offer one-to-one regular 50 minutes counselling sessions for adults and young people over 16, that are usually same time and day every week. Depending on the needs of each individual, I see people on a long-, medium- and short-term basis, open-ended or time limited, with regular reviews of how you and I feel the work is going to ensure we are addressing the most important issues for you.

I offer counselling sessions via  online with Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Skype video call and Telephone counselling meaning you can fit therapy into your life wherever you have access to confidential space.

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) providing confidentiality in a warm, accepting therapeutic relationship.

Our work together is completely confidential and supervised, and I adhere to the values, morals and code of ethics of the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions,

If you would like to explore how counselling can help you and find out if online or telephone counselling is suitable for you, please call or email me for an initial free no obligation 30-minute telephone call to discuss issues or concerns that you might wish to address in therapy. This also provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have and decide if working together is the right next step. At the end of this free consultation, if you wish to proceed, we will set a day and a time and agree a weekly contact.

In our first session we will discuss what had bought you to therapy. Together we will explore your expectations of therapy and how best I can assist you. Healing from trauma and taking care of our mental health is an ongoing process, and I’d love the opportunity to be a part of your journey.

Please contact me if you feel I can help you on 07379320942 or reconnecttherapies@outlook.com
