About me

I am a trained and registered Psychotherapist  with a passion for helping people deal with their unique life challenges and individual problems. Being of Indian heritage and having grown up in a Western society, I have a unique and privileged position to have understood the challenges of navigating through two very contrasting cultures in any one or more of life’s situations. I am particularly passionate about raising an awareness of mental health issues among the Subcontinent communities and in reducing the stigma surrounding the need to seek help. I have witnessed too many people suffering as they feel crippled by the stigma of admitting that they are not coping and asking for help.

I believe in treating everyone with the utmost of respect and dignity and trust that everyone has the ability to heal themselves given the right environment and opportunity. Every one has the right to lead happy and fulfilled lives.

I work by taking the time to listen carefully and empathically and without judgement to everything you have to say about your experiences, fears or concerns. By doing this, I will work with you to help you to identify any deep rooted issues that you may or may not be aware of and how they might be impacting you today. Together we will work out how best to work through and resolve these deep rooted issues and agree on the strategies to help you move forward.

Give me a call or send me an email and I will respond promptly to your enquiry.
