About me

I’m a fully-qualified integrative therapist who specialises in supporting South Asians to live a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

I have experience in helping people to:

  • Overcome unhealthy People Pleasing behaviours,
  • Improve Self-Esteem, Confidence and be kinder to themselves,
  • Manage Stress and Anxiety,
  • Move forward following Narcissistic Abuse,
  • Navigate and make sense of conflicting Cultural Issues, inc. interracial & intercultural relationships and family estrangement,
  • Process Trauma. Including Loss, Childhood Trauma and Domestic Abuse.

I have worked with a wide range of client backgrounds across the UK and Worldwide.

How I Practice

For the first few sessions, I lean to a more directive approach as we get to know each other better. I will ask you questions about yourself, your childhood (cliché, but important!), your current situation, why you’ve come to therapy and importantly what you’d like to gain from your therapy journey.

In sessions, you won’t find a blank face nodding in agreement to everything you say. I’ve been described as having a ‘kind but firm’ approach. I believe in the power of thoughtful challenge to support you to get to a point where you can be your own therapist, reach your goals and aspirations and live the life you truly desire and deserve.

It’s important to me that you feel comfortable with your therapist, and I place huge importance on building an empathic and confidential environment where you feel safe to discuss anything you want to without judgement.

Working together, I can help you to build resilience and provide you with the tools you need to achieve a resolution and move forward. Supporting you to shed the expectations from family, culture, society or what you think you should be doing and instead embrace your true self.

My Approach

As an integrative therapist and coach, I’m trained in and draw upon a range of proven approaches to craft a therapy journey bespoke to you – taking culture and intersectionality into account.

Using reparative therapeutic tools and resources to help you to process and develop understanding; and coaching techniques as well as energy psychology to support you in making effective, long-term change.

Approaches include Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis, Solution-Focussed Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping).

How to work with me

I offer 1:1 weekly or bi-weekly therapy slots. I work online (worldwide), over the phone or in-person.

The first step is to book a 50 minute introductory consultation which will give you the opportunity to discuss your concerns and explore what would best help you meet your needs and goals. There will be time to ask any questions you have, whilst deciding if we are a good fit. If we are both happy, we will contract to continue working together.

Fee for an introductory session is £65. Fee for ongoing therapy is £85.
