About me

Sometimes life can feel like it’s getting too much, or overwhelming. At other times, you may feel stuck. There may be something specific you’d like to address, or perhaps you can’t put a name to it.

Whatever you may be feeling, therapy can help support you in managing difficult and challenging feelings, helping you to overcome that feeling of ‘stuckness’ and enable you to move forward – to find the joy in life.

Working together, I can help you to build an inner resilience and the tools you need to achieve a resolution and move forward.

I have experience in helping people to:

  • Manage Anxiety & Stress,
  • Cope with Bereavement, Grief and Loss,
  • Navigate and make sense of conflicting Cultural Issues,
  • Increase Confidence and be kinder to themselves,
  • Process Trauma. Including Childhood Trauma and Domestic Abuse.

During therapy, we’ll work together to explore what’s going on for you and develop understanding. Using tools and resources to help you to discover the answers.

I believe everyone has the right to happiness and fulfilment in all areas of their lives.

How I Practice

I have an integrative approach to therapy, meaning I’m in trained in and draw on a range of approaches so we can work in a bespoke way that best suits you – taking culture and intersectionality into account.

It’s important to me that you feel comfortable with your therapist, so I place huge importance on building an empathic and confidential environment where you feel safe to explore your feelings.

I offer long and short-term work and work online, over the phone or in person. The therapy room is based in North London with easy access to public transport and free parking available nearby.

The First Session

Our initial session together will act as a consultation providing an opportunity for us each to introduce ourselves.

You will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and explore what would best help you meet your goals.

There will be time to ask any questions you might have to decide whether you would like to work together. If we are both happy, we will contract to continue working together.

Fees are £75 for Counselling and Psychotherapy sessions.

Sessions are 50 minutes long and usually weekly. We can agree to a fixed number of sessions, or leave it open for the longer-term, and we’ll have regular check-ins to make sure you are getting what you need.

I offer a number of concessionary rates for trainee student therapists and those who may be struggling financially. Please let me know when you get in touch if you would like to discuss concessionary rates.

Starting therapy can feel daunting, and yet you’ve taken the first step by looking for a therapist.

To learn more about how I could help, get in touch for an initial free 15minute informal chat. I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have.
