Finding a therapist can be hard. What do all the letters mean? How do you narrow down what “issue” or “specialty” applies to you? On top of that, you’re probably just trying to find someone that will help you FEEL BETTER. During a session, the hour belongs to you, and my job is to listen, support, and create a safe space. I enjoy working with culturally diverse individuals and promote positive regard for all backgrounds and beliefs. My areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relational trauma, family/relationship issues, life transitions, sexual functioning, and identity development.
I received my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate. I am supervised by Katie Nix, LPC-S.
At the root of my work, I seek to provide a safe and supportive space for people based on their unique needs. Please call, email, or use our convenient online booking system (https://www.brightspacetherapy.com/aymenosmani) to start your therapy journey.
