About me

I am a clinical mental health counseling intern working toward licensure with young adults, adults, and couples. My approach is primarily psychodynamic, while incorporating other modalities based on each client’s needs and goals.

I work with concerns including trauma, PTSD and complex PTSD, family and relationship dynamics, life transitions, bullying, family pressure, spirituality, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. I also support clients exploring gender, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ identity in an affirming space.

As a Pakistani-American, I understand the complexities of growing up in a South Asian household and navigating multiple cultural identities. I am natively fluent in English and Urdu and can provide therapy in either language or move fluidly between them.

My background in the arts informs my attention to nuance and individual meaning. I strive to offer a warm, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
