I am a first-generation South Asian American. I grew up on the East Coast my whole life, but my love for the Pacific Northwest grew when I moved to Seattle in 2020. I set out to do more in life than be in the corporate grind, so I decided to switch my career to marriage and family therapy. As someone who grew up with anxiety, I understand and empathize with my clients who go through this every day. There is a lack of South Asian therapists in Mental Health. I know the culture in the eastern and western hemispheres. I decided I wanted to be part of a growing field that could help the South Asian Community. I am Hindu and bilingual in Gujarati and English.
I am currently interning at two locations. One is Azure Counseling which has in-person sessions on Mondays at my Issaquah office and offers remote on Tuesdays. The other intern location is Calm Counseling, located in Shoreline, on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I also provide remote sessions. At both locations, it is private pay. Please look at both locations and see what is best for you.
Please note that for Azure Counseling, I can only practice in WA state, and for Calm Counseling, I can practice in WA and Mass. Only residents living in these states can I provide therapy.

Outside work, you will find me playing with my two incredible doggos and finding new trails in Sammamish. I recently got married to a wonderful man that has been so understanding. I enjoy cooking, having dinner parties, going to the beach, hiking, trying new restaurants, skiing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. I also practice daily meditation and prayers.
