About me

As a South Asian woman who has grown up overseas and is a child of immigrants, I approach my work with clients through an intersectional, decolonial, and relational lens. I believe the experiences we have often connect to one another and to those who came before us. Gaining this insight can be powerful as we discover, embrace, and heal parts of ourselves. I strive to ensure your identities are honored in the space, that you are the writer of your story, and that you can show up as you are. Nothing in the space is off the table and yes, that includes curse words, humor, sex/intimacy issues, and intrusive thoughts to name a few!

Although I use elements from a range of modalities to support my clients needs, I primarily use Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Brainspotting when working with the individuals and couples I serve. Using a combination of these approaches have allowed my clients to strengthen their relationship with themselves and others. I specialize in racial/ethnic identity, colorism, BI&POC and interracial couples, grief, and trauma.

I know how important relationships of all kinds (the therapeutic one too!) are in the journey towards healing. Embodying values of collaboration, inclusivity, and empowerment have allowed me as a clinician to gently challenge my clients, empower them to advocate for themselves, and provided a space to repair relational rupture with compassion and curiosity.

If you would feel like we may be a good fit and want to connect, don’t hesitate to email me for a free consultation.
