About Me

Welcome to my page. I am the founder of After Faith; a talking therapy service that provides evidence-based therapy for individuals who no longer have faith in the religion they once believed in.

I am an ex-Muslim myself, and also a trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT).  I recognised that there is little awareness from professionals about the struggles that people who leave their faith face, and I feel that tailored support from someone with knowledge of the subject could potentially have been extremely helpful for me at the time. This is why I set up After Faith.

During my time as a therapist, I have gone through my own journey of Apostasy. I used to be a Muslim, and now identify as Atheist. My journey has been a difficult one, but one which has allowed me to live the life I want.  This is why I started After Faith. I want to help others be able to live the life they want, and to help them overcome the obstacles and difficulties they might be facing whilst trying to do this.

Please check out the After Faith website to find out more about us.
