About me

*Now accepting new clients*

Growing up as a Nepali-Indian American, I have a profound understanding and empathy for the ways in which our cultural backgrounds shape who we are. I am here to guide you through feelings of confusion, dissatisfaction, guilt, and shame that might come from misaligned cultural experiences. I understand that delving into the hidden or seemingly unpalatable parts of ourselves can be intimidating. As former Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis wisely said, “sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants.” In our work together, we can create the safety that is needed to truly illuminate the parts of you that need healing.

Through cognitive-behavioral therapy, we will draw upon your strengths to help you grow. I work collaboratively with young and middle-aged adults addressing relationship issues, family conflicts, motivation, self-esteem, and spirituality. Further, if you are impacted by substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, or grief, I am here to help.
