About me

Hello, I’m Husna. Thank you for visiting my profile.

I am a fully qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to ethical and professional conduct when working with clients and this is guided by the BACP framework.

My way of working is integrative, which means I use various methods and theories from a range of modalities. I feel that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy and that each client must be worked with in an individual manner.

I believe that every person inherently possesses unique resources for personal growth, and I am here to support you on your journey towards this. Through collaborative work, we can explore different stages and strategies to facilitate you achieving your desired outcome.

I have an interest in counselling children, adolescents, and women, as I have experience working in various fields with these age groups. I want to continue to work closely with women, especially those from a BAME background, due to the underrepresentation that this group faces.

The therapeutic relationship is paramount in working through difficulties faced by an individual so I would recommend booking an initial chat to see if I am the right fit for you. This will also enable us to look at which type of therapy may be beneficial for you too.
